Larry Miles Dinger is the Ambassador to Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Tonga and Tuvalu

Larry M. Dinger was sworn in as U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of the Fiji Islands, the Republic of Kiribati, the Republic of Nauru, the Kingdom of Tonga, and Tuvalu on July 22, 2005. From August 2004 to June 2005, he was the State Department's Senior Advisor to the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island.(more) 

Release of Human Rights Report 2007

The U.S. Department of State today announces the release of the Country Reports on Human Rights Practices for 2007.  The U.S. Congress mandates these reports every year on 194 countries around the world, including the five countries to which the Embassy is accredited:  Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Tonga and Tuvalu. (more)

The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) invites applications to its Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program. Established in 2001 to enable democracy practitioners and scholars from around the world to deepen their understand­ing of democracy and enhance their ability to promote democratic change, the program is based at NED’s International Forum for Democratic Studies, in Wash­ington, D.C.  (more)
